Road Authority spokesperson Hileni Fillemon said they reached an amicable agreement with Emilia “Ou Vrou” Angala on 11 June and she will be compensated accordingly in line with the Road Ordinance Act as per compensation rate approved by the government.

Seven million Namibian Dollars was spent to renovate and upgrade Katima and Kopano quarantine facilities in the Caprivi region. These facilities were officially handed over by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, Joseph Iita, last Thursday.
