The ground breaking ceremony of the Millenium Challenge Account (MCA) sponsored Etosha infrastructure upgrading took place on 23 April. US Ambassador to Namibia, her Excellency Wanda Nesbitt, during the ceremony said, “We have learned from conservancies and community-based natural resources management that the tourism industry can play a significant role in reducing poverty and bring about development in Namibia.”

MCA invests big in Etosha |

The Millenium Challenge Account (MCA) is investing US$40 million (N$340,5 million) in Etosha National Park infrastructure development. The development is targeted at building new houses, renovating the existing houses and other infrastructural equipment.
