Ramblers enter Hungry Lion’s den PDF Print E-mail

FOR a team that started fighting relegation on the first day of the season, winless  Ramblers face the wrath of a Black Africa side hungry to remain in contention for the elusive premier league title, tonight at Sam Nujoma.

Black Africa have 14 points from seven games and without the proviso of last night’s game between Civics and log leading Pirates, BA would be hoping to enter the weekend in the top two, if they collect maximum points tonight.
Now that Jerome Louis has found his goal-scoring boots and Clarence Foroma is picking up form by each game, BA are favourites to condemn Ramblers deeper into relegation, a position they became familiar with since last season.
Ali Akan’s charges travel to the coast (Blue Waters) in their next assignment and the best safety measure is to destroy the little ponies in the way before the unpredictable clash in Walvis Bay. Such is the misfortune of Ramblers.
Arnold Subeb’s return is another confidence booster in goals for BA after a month’s injury absence.
“We are not aiming for a win with this squad against BA, but we will fight. If we get anything out of this match it will be a bonus. We realisticaly dont have a team to beat BA,”said Ramblers co-coach Jorge Da Purificao.
With African Stars (SKW) and Blue Waters (dating United Stars) both in unpredictable encounters on Friday and Saturday respectively,  the Lively Lions have themselves to blame if they don’t reach the top two.
Meanwhile Informante wishes to correct that the headline, ‘Where is Ali getting all  the money’  on page 39 of last week’s edition was regrettably negatively vague.
The headline should have read, “ Who said coaches are poor?”, which is what appeared on the caption of Ali Akan’s picture.
The headline was supposed to be the caption, and the caption is the one which was meant to be the headline.
