Less than six weeks after the Namibia Annual Music Awards (Namas) Artist of the Year, Mushe was exposed in the media for viciously battering his girlfriend and manager, Hella Nghifindaka, the two have been spotted together.
The assault by kwaito artist, Mushe (real name Albert Uulenga) on his girlfriend apparently left Nghifindaka with scratches to her face and 11 stitches to her left thigh. Mushe denied the allegations of assault though, claiming he is innocent and did not attack her. At the time Nghifindaka said she doesn’t want Mushe in her life anymore. “I cannot take the risk of losing my life. I have done a lot for him, but that is over now. I am done. I will not work with him again,” she said shortly after the assault. The couple was however spotted together last weekend. They were seen cozying up to each other and laughing happily together.
When Informanté Entertainment called for comment Mushe and Hella did not want to say a word. “Look, I do not want to comment on anything regarding Mushe and Hella,” Mushe fumed. Hella said that she was too busy to talk. “You know I don’t have time to reply to these type of questions. Have a lovely day further though,” she said. Afro-Pop and Hikwa artist, Satlam (real name Satlam Shatilwe), who was performing at the ‘World Music Day’ event in Oshakati and at Gabriel Taapopi Secondary School on Saturday says he met Mushe and Hella at the event. “After that assault I saw Mushe and Hella together again this weekend. I was also surprised,” he admitted. The organiser of the Oshakati ‘World music day’ celebration, Remind Ekandjo confirmed that Satlam did perform at the show and that he saw Mushe on Saturday. “Satlam’s name was not the performing artists list, because he was one of the surprise artists who performed at the show. I also would have asked Mushe to perform, but unfortunately I saw him too late on Saturday,” he says. Satlam adds that he saw Mushe and Hella together at the Gabriel Taapopi Secondary School where he and Mushe were scheduled to perform. Satlam is convinced that they have forgiven each and are ready to start over. “Mushe and Hella travelled together on Thursday in the same car. I went with my crew on Saturday and met them there early in the morning. They are unpredictable,” Satlam mused.
Such is love …
