Big Brother has disqualified another two Big Brother Africa Stargame housemates who were involved in violence this week. Seventeen days ago Zainab and DKB were disqualified after a violent episode and now two Zimbabwean Starmates, Roki and Maneta, have also been disqualified after they became entangled in a physical confrontation.

According to the Big Brother Africa rules violence in the house is strictly prohibited and Roki and Meneta’s disqualification on Tuesday was justified as they were engaged in a physical fight. “Violence can refer to self-inflicted violence or violence towards another. Violence includes provocation, goading, bullying and victimisation,” Biggie told the housemates.

“Maneta and Roki, you have both contravened the provocation rule. Roki you intentionally provoked Maneta by pouring water over her head. Maneta, you then threw cleaning fluid in Roki’s face. Maneta, you also threatened to stab Roki. This [happened] after you had both thrown fluids over each other earlier in the day. In terms of the house rules you have both been disqualified from the game.” Biggie stated after the incident.
Two weeks ago Zainab and DKB were embroiled in violence and expelled from the house after DKB slapped Zainab for peeping at him while he was taking a shower. After the incident DKB issued an apology to the housemates and the viewers. DKB’s apology touches on gender violence and its repercussions and he is hoping it would send out a clear message to everyone to avoid any form of violence against either men or women in society.
Biggie revealed that Roki and Maneta will both be provided with psychological and medical treatment. They will also receive counseling that will assist them with conflict and anger management.
