Songbird Lize Ehlers and comedian Slick the Dick (real name Onesmus Upindi) handed over gifts on Tuesday raised at a ‘benefit concert’ that was hosted at Garlic and flowers restaurant in Windhoek.

The concert was hosted on 23 June to help raise money to buy gifts for the children in the Katutura and Central Hospital in Windhoek.
On Tuesday the artists handed over books, crayons, pencils, toys and snacks to the children, who are receiving treatment at the Katutura and Central hospitals in Windhoek. Lize also sang for the children and some happily sang along.
She says that the concert brought Namibian artists together to get involved in crucial charity projects, like this one. Some of the well-loved artists who performed at the concert include Shishani, Joh White, Slick the Dick, Savannah, Lize Ehlers, as well as poets Stefan Steyn and Playshis.
