THANK you so much for supporting us in Tsumeb. We sold all the Informanté newspapers. Our first customer, Hon. Nico Kaiyamo, bought two newspapers for N$6 and he will fetch his two newspapers every Friday morning at the Tov Multipurpose Center. Unfortunately we only received 100, but as from this Friday we will have 1000.The kids’ examination will start on the 9 August and it simply means more food for the kids. Trustco International, through Informanté Newspapers and Tov, will make sure that the 54 children who are supported by Tov, will not need to worry about where the food is coming from. We spoke to Pieter Van Eeden, a farmer, to provide Tov with 10 of the two litres dik melk tomorrow, which is N$200 we received and N$100 we paid our vendors, most of them Tov staff. The idea is for Pieter to provide Tov with milk and soup bones every week. The kids love milk and bread, so to address the bread issue we will see how much money we make to start working on the bread oven. Thank you Mr. Isai Nekundi and Namibia Custom Smelters for providing us with two drums. COSDEC offered to manufacture the bread oven for free. We just need to buy the material. It was a great experience to sell the newspaper, we know now what is working or not working. People also know now the funds are for Tov to help the children. We know now we cannot blame people, we have a great opportunity to turn our community around and to stop our children eating from the dumping site. The ball is in the hands of Tov and the community of Tsumeb to make it work. A few weeks ago I did not know where the help will come from to continue to help the children, thank you Trustco International, you are a Godsend.
