The Namibia Business Innovation Centre (NBIC) will be joining various Namibian business organisations at the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair from 24 August to 2 September where it will help aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators to establish their own businesses successfully.

According to NBIC, the trade fair is the ideal to reach out to like-minded people with entrepreneurial spirit. “With people from all over Namibia flocking to this high level trade fair, there will be an opportunity to engage with the team and mentors of the NBIC, who will assist and motivate budding entrepreneurs and organisations with innovative ideas,” said Zodidi Gaseb of NBIC. She said the fair presents the perfect opportunity for those individuals and SME’s that are not based around Windhoek to receive the necessary information and assistance to make their business idea a reality.

NBIC will also be hosting a Business Idea Competition at the trade fair, where entrants stand a chance to win great prizes by submitting ideas for business ventures. Other activities taking place at the NBIC booth will be mind and creativity games, presentations and video clips, business start up support and free coaching. “Come with all your business queries, and you will be assisted by the NBIC team. Take the first step in realising your dream and making your business a reality,” said Gaseb.

“Any country that wants to be competitive needs to be innovative, embrace technology and realise its population are its most critical and valuable economic resource,” said Dagmar Honsbein, Managing Director of NBIC. “Our presence at the OATF provides the perfect platform for people to enquire about the skills training, coaching and mentoring that we offer.”
