PROMINENT lawyer and senior partner at the Conradie and Damaseb law firm - Dirk Conradie was shocked to find animal remains of a carnivorous creature with the features of a mongoose (meerkat) at his law-firm and private residence.

Conradie told Informanté he was shocked to find the animal remains tied in coloured beads at his business because he is a Christian and does not believe in witchcraft.
“I can only ascribe this to jealousy… I am a Christian and do not understand why someone would want to bewitch me,” he said.
The remains included the full body of a tiny carnivore, most likely strangled and tied in black strings with coloured beads. Conradie also found skinned limbs of an unidentified animal at his home.
