A young boy was hit by a taxi in Monty Cristo road, last Tuesday at around midday.

The student from Tobias Hainyeko primary school was struck down when he attempted to cross the road on his way home from school.
The boy sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to the Katatura State hospital after being stabilised by City of Windhoek paramedics.
