Dear Editor

I AM angry but I am not surprised at what is happening at our Otjiwarongo State Hospital. Yes, I want to put this unpleasantness aside as a law abiding person, because corruption is now a natural disaster, cold calculated theft of opportunities.
It is important for the readers to know what the fuss is about and make up their own minds. I choose my way wisely. The State Hospital of Otjiwarongo is lacking theatre equipment (instruments) like scissors, backocs, etc… The chief control nurse fails to control the new instruments, and in that way the new stock is never marked, and in this way, state property disappears, everybody is the one in charge if the nurse is on leave/sick leave. The staff who work in the theatre and own private consulting rooms benefit through this scandal. Our hospital is unable to deliver effective and affordable services to the people because of corrupt officials, stealing and easily getting away. We should blame the Government for shortage of equipment in hospitals and clinics, because it is meant to work for all the diverse communities.
Last but not least, we want a full scale of investigation in the bove matter because someone must manage and control our resources.
