Land Rover Windhoek launched the new Range Rover Evoque last year in November and the car has since been in hot demand. According to records 30 people are currently on the waiting list of the Range Rover Evoque.

Sales executive at Land Rover Windhoek, Anlerie van der Merwe,  says that the waiting list is growing weekly. “All the cars are sold out. People interested in the car have to order it, because we are out of stock.”
She says that they only import five cars a month from the United Kingdom. Van der Merwe says that Evoque has a Femidom look and that the interior was designed by Victoria Beckham.
Another sales executive, Dylan Kaye says that clients don’t complain about being on the waiting list. He says “These people know what they want and waiting for a few weeks for a car that they want, is all worth it at the end.”
He further adds that “the demand for the car is not surprising to me at all. It is a sexy new car on the market.“
But what makes the Evoque different from other Range Rovers on the market? Kaye says that it is the Evoque’s bold and sophisticated design that makes it unique. “The car is smaller, lighter and has a beautifully-designed exterior and interior,” “The interior design is utterly contemporary, with a sporty look to it. Driving the car offers a new take on the feeling of driving. The driver sits lower in the vehicle and all controls are easy to reach.” He adds that “The striking exterior design conveys an immediate sense of luxury. The car is surely eye-catching and can’t be ignored.”
He enthuses about the glass sun-roof as it adds to the attractiveness of the car. “The sun-roof brings light into the car. The glass has a dark tint to protect the occupants and the interior from the sun’s rays.”
