Dear Editor, First you hear they are not taking part in the awards because they are not happy with the committee, then the next thing you hear they are worshipping the awards all over the papers, now that’s what we call hypocrisy. One wonders whether they sit at home with their entourages and their groupies saying this is nonsence, how can she be organising the awards when she is managing who and who but then they forget that she was managing ... oops I almost forgot too. |

IT is a nightmare to think that the soccer world cup event will be hosted by South Africa whilst the service from their national airline is a complete disgrace.I personally experienced the following whilst travelling from Windhoek to Johannesburg via South African Airways. My luggage was lost on arrival in Johannesburg. |

I come from Outapi, capital of the Omusati region and heart of the Owamboland. It is full of culture, tradition, and oppression. It is time more public attention was given to Outapi. Thanks to the courage of a couple of women, as this begun with the press coverage of the rape allegations against Amadhila. |

I would like to air my views regarding the recent utterances in Parliament made by Lands and Resettlement Minister, Jerry Ekandjo with regard to the International Crime Court (ICC) issue. I was really shocked to hear a cabinet Minister make such a statement that they will pounce on the farmers if Sam Nujoma (the first president) is taken to the Hague. I think it is very wrong. |
