Namibia is no longer acting only as a drug conduit for neighbouring countries, but has more worryingly become a market for heavy consumers of drugs - especially cocaine and rocks amongst the affluent.

NAMIBIANS face widespread fuel price hikes in the wake of energy price increases on the international market. Consumers will bear the brunt of exorbitant high fuel prices and other services unless the Ministry of Energy intervenes by providing targeted subsidies.
