RETIRED sprint legend Frank Fredericks has taken time out from the ill-fated and embarrassing Namibian Athletics presidential campaign to join an elite group of high profile International Olympic Committee members in London this week, to see how organisers are preparing for the 2012 Games.

Writing this column, as well as keeping my friends is becoming more and more difficult. Still, I can’t resist the temptation to share with you how our referees, most of them my friends, are spoiling the most beautiful game, and getting away with murder.
