Housing prices in Namibia have been climbing so fast that for once the country is amongst the top five in the world. According to the latest First National Bank Namibia housing index for 2012, house prices rose 25,3% from 2011 in local currency, making Namibia the country where housing prices increased the fourth fastest worldwide.

A court date is yet to be set in a case in which the management of Telecom Namibia is appealing to the Supreme Court to reverse a default judgement granted to 35 former employees whose employment was unfairly terminated by the telecommunications company five years ago.
