Meya Mining, a company in which Trustco Resources hold a
51% interest, has reported the recovery of the 29th largest diamond ever
discovered globally.

The 476
carat diamond, which is also the second-largest discovered anywhere in the
world during the past two years, was recovered from the Company’s exploration
operations in the Kono District in eastern Sierra Leone.

 In November last
year, Trustco advised shareholders that its subsidiary, Trustco Resources,
acquired an interest in Meya Mining (Mauritius). Meya holds a four-year
exclusive diamond Exploration Licence (EL 07/2017) in Sierra Leone. The 129.38
km² concession straddles three chiefdoms in the Kono District; Kamara, Nimikoro
and Tankoro.

Hours after recovering the historic 476 carat diamond, Meya
Mining also recovered one 27 carat diamond and one 19 carat diamond. The
Company is currently bulk sampling one of the numerous ore bodies within the
Licence area with a view to producing a resource statement.

The SENS announcement released by Trustco earlier, as well

The discovery of the historic 476 carat diamond by Meya
Mining crowns a host of Trustco achievements during the past few days,
including receiving Royal status for continued excellent performance of Trustco
shares on the biggest Stock Market on the African Continent, the JSE, from the
